Historian and literary researcher Roos in’t Velt completed a research master’s degree in Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance Studies at Utrecht University. During her studies, she specialised in texts written in Middle Dutch. After graduating, Roos has been involved in various projects in medieval studies at home and abroad, including the research and registration project Comites Latentes/Medieval Manuscripts in Flemish Collections of the Flemish Heritage Libraries (2023) and the preliminary research for the exhibition Burgundians in Limburg of the Limburgs Museum (2025).

At the Huygens Institute, Roos in’t Velt is responsible for the digital access to the letter collection of Duchess Mechteld van Gelre (ca. 1323-1384) from the Gelders Archief, about which she also wrote her master’s thesis in 2022.
