Peter Kegel studied General Literature (nowadays Language and Culture Studies) at Utrecht University. In 1996 he took the postgraduate programme in Documentary Information Science at the University of Amsterdam. From 1994 to 2000 he was subject specialist for literature at the library of the Faculty of Literature at University of Utrecht. Since 2000 he has been working at Huygens ING, currently as project coordinator and researcher on the “Willem Frederik Hermans, Complete Works” project. He is also working on a (text genetics) dissertation about the creative process in Hermans’ novels and he is the editor of the website, a collaborative project involving Huygens Institute and the Literature Museum.
