Biography
Leo Jansen works at Huygens Institute for the editing project of Piet Mondriaan, in cooperation with RKD – Netherlands Institute for Art History. The project aims to make all letters and manuscripts of Mondriaan available online.
Leo Jansen worked at the Van Gogh Letters project for 15 years at the Van Gogh Museum, and produced together with Hans Luijten en Nienke Bakker, a scientific edition of the complete correspondence of Vincent Van Gogh. He was partly responsible for the translation of vangoghletters.org, together with Huygens Institute, and for the international rewarded publication of Vincent van Gogh – The Letters.
