From parchment to digital edition: a happy marriage between historical resources and AI

Three Huygens staff members will give a lecture in the series ‘The publication of charters and letters (ca. 992 to 1890): from falsa and Transkribus via gossip and secret writing, perfumes and influential widows to the letters of Van Gogh’.
Geertrui van Synghel will kick off on Thursday 11 December with a lecture on charters, palaeography and the digitisation and study of historical sources, with and without the assistence of AI.
