Pierre-Edouard Barrault is responsible for coordinating and delivering the new data platform, including migrating the Huygens and Meertens collections to a uniform environment and catalogue.
After an early career in sound engineering and photography, Pierre moved into the digital world and obtained a master’s degree in information architecture from the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon in France.
He is now a data and design-oriented professional with over 10 years of experience in developing pipelines, dashboards and tools focused on processing, normalising and analysing data in any form and shape.
Following his experience managing Linked Open Data at the Europeana Foundation, he founded the data aggregation platform muzai.io (https://muzai.io). He further developed his skills in cloud architecture, data science and machine learning and now applies them in a design approach tailored to AI product management.
