Biography

Harm Nijboer is senior data manager for the Golden Agents programme. Within that programme he deals with connecting people, places, and other entities between different datasets.
Harm studied economic and social history at the University of Amsterdam and gained his doctorate in 2007 at the University of Groningen with a dissertation on consumption in the Dutch “Golden Age”. He then worked at the University of Amsterdam, where he constructed large historical databases such as Ecartico and Onstage. He joined the digital data management department in January 2017.
