Lennert Savenije wins the Prof. Van Winterprijs 2019
The Professor van WinterPrijs 2019 has been presented to Lennert Savenije on Wednesday 23 October. The jury has unanimously selected his book Nijmegen, collaboratie en verzet. Een stad in oorlogstijd (Nijmegen, collaboration and resistance. A city in wartime ) (Nijmegen, Vantilt) unanimously elected as the winner of all submitted books published in 2017-2018.
The prize comes with an amount of € 3.500,-. It will be made available by the Professor van Winter Fund. The prize is awarded every two years for the best book in the field of local and regional history in the Netherlands.
