Edurne De Wilde is an intellectual historian with a BA from KU Leuven and Research Master’s degree in History (cum laude) from Leiden University. She works part-time as the project officer of the PRESERVARE project, led by dr. Marieke Hendriksen. The other days of the week, she is finalising her PhD on the modern afterlives of Francis Bacon’s theory of the idols. Additionally, Edurne has worked as the managing editor of Tijdschrift voor Geschiedenis and she occasionally reviews history books for NRC.
