Walter Ravenek

Biography: Walter Ravenek studied Chemistry at Delft University of Technology and the University of Amsterdam. He gained his doctorate in theoretical chemistry at the Catholic University of Nijmegen (now Radboud University Nijmegen) and then worked as a postgraduate researcher and university lecturer in chemical informatics at VU University Amsterdam. In 1999 he switched to the commercial sector, working as a software developer at ABN AMRO and Tridion. Since May 2008 he has been working as a software developer at Huygens ING. His interest is in projects at the interface between science and IT.
