Guido Gerritsen


Guido Gerritsen studied Dutch Language and Literature at Leiden University, after which he worked commercially as a programmer and system analyst. From 2001 onward he was an ICT project manager with various employers, and also followed a Master of Management and Organization educational programme at the TIAS Business School Tilburg, as well as diverse training programmes in project leadership. At Huygens ING he is currently working as a project manager on the ‘Geleerdenbrieven’ project, in which analysis and visualization tools are being developed for a body of 20,000 letters from scholars working in the Netherlands in the 17th century. A joint epistolary project with the Bodleian Library in Oxford and Stanford University is also being carried out in the framework of this project. Technical co-operation is also taking place via the European CLARIN project and with Lancaster University. In addition, Gerritsen is also engaged in various other projects, as well as in the general project planning of the development department.
