Marielle Scherer studied history at Leiden University, specialising in relations between the Netherlands and the Dutch East Indies in the 19th and 20th centuries. She has been an associate of Huygens Institute since 2001, working on projects including the digital sources publication “Dutch-Indonesian relations 1950–1963”; the “Research Guide to Victims of WWII”, the “Constitutional Commissions 1883–1983” project and the “Triado” project (Tribunal archives as a digital research facility). She is currently working on the “Anne Frank Manuscripts Study” and “Mondrian Papers”.
